GodBeat to Cover Immerse Artists Event

Godbeat.com, in partnership with the Gospel Music Association and IMMERSE 2009 have agreed to live stream the Artist of 2009 National Competition, the Christian music industry’s official talent competition for unsigned acts, on Aug. 1, 2009.  Godbeat.com is a media driven, Christian Music news and information source, located in Goodlettsville, TN.

IMMERSE 2009 is being held on the campus of Belmont University, Nashville TN. July 29th – August 2nd 2009.  Christian artists, songwriters, worship leaders, music business professionals– and those that want to be someday – will gather at IMMERSE, a four-day event during which registrants will train with the industry’s most influential professionals, leading artists and songwriters, connect with top music insiders and others who share a passion for God and music; compete in Christian music’s official talent competition and enjoy exclusive music opportunities that only Nashville can offer, including the valuable prize packages.

IMMERSE offers participants unparalleled access to some of Christian music’s top and rising artists and songwriters who will not only perform at IMMERSE, but also teach, mentor and create with registrants.  Just some of the artists that have so far confirmed are Michael W. Smith, Natalie Grant, Pillar, Aaron Shust, Chris Sligh, Phil Stacey, Martha Munizzi, Travis Cottrell, KJ-52, Leeland, Krystal Meyers, Kirk Franklin and Joy Williams.  More artists will be confirmed up until the start of IMMERSE!
