Jason Wenell, founder of ProdigalSonMag.com, recently announced the launch of OneMillionWitnesses.com, a new faith experiment whose goal is to ‘share how you have been blessed and bless others’.   By sharing faith testimonies and making a donation to the missions the site partners with, Wenell hopes the site will become an ‘online monument to God’ that share His goodness with others.
 
Born out of a desire to show God actively at work, Jason and his wife Shanelle developed OneMillionWitnesses.com as not only a means of encouragement, but to bless others by providing for those in need.  Through their partnership with Living Water International and various other charities, viewers will be able to donate to the cause and see where their money is going.  
 
"We watch the news and see all the malice, crimes and evil going on in the world.  Meanwhile, there are thousands of great stories out there, where God is doing amazing things,” shares Wenell.  “You just don't hear about them.  I want this site to change that.  With a look at one website, I want people to say ‘Wow, God is amazing!’ Look at all these stories, His glory is happening all over the world right here and right now."
 
When a user enters the site they will see hundreds of little blocks. The idea is to have users write their testimony or personal witness account of God’s love, which can include anything from a job promotion to a physical healing.  When a visitor adds their testimony, their story is added to the ‘witness wall’ and they are assigned a block.  To receive a block, users must donate a minimum of $10 to the mission they are partnering with (the first being Living Water International) and they will see how many new water wells the site has funded. Pictures and report will be posted on the site to see the developments.  The goal with Living Water International is to build 100 wells.  
            
"I hope people use this site for encouragement,” said Wenell.  “You can search all the testimonies by keyword and all the stories relevant with your search will pop up.  So if you are struggling with infertility, type in ‘baby’ or ‘infertility’ and all the amazing stories of God bringing unexpected babies into this world will illuminate."
 
As this experiment catches fire, their tagline “Changing the world, one story at a time,” will become a reality.  The small voices will become one large message. Jesus is real and small ripples of His love can make a worldwide impact.
