Rush of Fools debuts with UNDO

(NASHVILLE, TENN) January 31, 2007 – “Undo,” the first radio single from premiere new Midas Records band Rush Of Fools, landed at #22 on the AC Monitor chart this week as reported by Radio & Records. The single is from the group’s forthcoming May 8, 2007 Midas Records release being distributed into the CBA marketplace through EMI CMG Distribution. The position places “Undo” as the most added song on the chart with 288 total monitored spins. After going for adds on Christian radio January 12, 2007, the single’s unprecedented multiple chart action garnered the highest score in the history of “20 The Countdown Magazine’s” listener poll.

In addition to the R & R chart success, “Undo” had charted on the CHR charts, has climbed two spots to #19 on CRW’s Comprehensive Chart, to #19 on CRW’s AC chart and made a significant jump from #66 to #33 on CRW’s Inspo chart. Included in those who have quickly added “Undo” are highly respected stations such as K-LOVE (National network), KKCM in Tulsa, OK and KCBI in Dallas, TX, among others.

The group’s much anticipated May 8, 2007 debut release is already being sought after by radio listeners nationwide and the group has received numerous My Space messages, requests for the song and incredible life-changing stories of hope and inspiration. Multiple requests have started to come in on a regular basis for copies of the song, in addition to personal stories told about how lives have been impacted by the lyrics, heart and message of the song.

The group embarked on a nationwide 2 week radio promotion tour in December, 2006, visiting numerous key radio stations and “launching” the single early on, with strong, positive response from general managers and programmers across the country. Rush of Fools is slated to embark on the “World On Fire” tour, a major market concert tour in the spring of 2007 with By The Tree and The Turning into 10-12 cities and perform at Alive Festival in Canal Fulton, OH June 20-23 along with Switchfoot, Chris Tomlin, Leeland, David Crowder Band and Toby Mac. Spring tour dates and cities to be announced in the coming weeks.

Rush Of Fools consists of Wes Willis (lead vocals and electric guitar), Kevin Huguley (acoustic/electric guitars and background vocals), Jacob Chestnut (bass), Jamie Sharpe (drums) and JD Frazier (keyboards, violin).
