Act One focuses on Christians in media

Act One, Inc., a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization that trains people of faith for careers in mainstream film & TV, is now taking applications for its Executive and Summer Writing programs.

The Executive program, which will take place from June 9-Aug. 24, is a rigorous 12-week program that prepares and mentors talented Christians for executive careers in mainstream entertainment. Each student in the program is matched with a summer internship at a Hollywood studio, talent agency, production company or law firm. Application deadline for the Executive program is March 10.

The Summer Writing program, which runs from July 6-Aug. 4, trains talented Christians for careers writing for mainstream film and television. The program takes place in Hollywood with 30 days of intensive classroom instruction taught by industry professionals. Application deadline for the Summer Writing program is March 31.
