Blanton Harrell Cooke & Corzine sign deal with Tina Ann Forkner

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Blanton Harrell Cooke & Corzine, one of entertainment’s premier management agencies, has announced the signing of noted author Tina Ann Forkner to the agency’s roster. Blanton Harrell Cooke & Corzine, credited with discovering best-selling and award-winning author Frank Peretti, maintains a roster of authors and recording artists such as Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Peretti, Point of Grace, Bebo Norman and Aaron Shust.

Primary management responsibilities for Forkner will be handled by Blanton Harrell Cooke & Corzine partner Chaz Corzine and fellow manager Cheri Kaufman. “I couldn't be more excited about the opportunity to work with Tina,” said Corzine. “She is, without exception, one of the most talented and gifted writers I have ever known. Tina has a great future ahead of her, and I count it a privilege that our company will be working with her.”

Forkner is an Oklahoma-born novelist who lived abroad and in California before ultimately settling in the wide-open spaces of Wyoming. Despite the fact she is still a young novelist, Forkner has developed a literary voice that challenges and inspires. Her first novel, Ruby Among Us, is set for a January 2008 release by Waterbrook Press, a division of Random House Publishers.

“It’s a beautiful thing when authors and agents ‘click’,” said Forkner. “Everything has seemed to effortlessly fit into place with Chaz and everyone else at BHCC from day one. I’m honored and humbled to be in the company of so many amazing artists and authors, and am thrilled to be represented by an industry leading company like Blanton Harrell Cooke & Corzine.”
