Natalie Grant shares details on Deeper Life

Natalie Grant is set to bow her first Curb Records release, Deeper Life, on February 11. Hailed by Billboard as "replete with hit potential and numerous opportunities for AC crossover," Deeper Life was co-produced by Grant, Michael Lloyd (Belinda Carlisle), Tommy Sims (Toni Braxton, Babyface), Eric Foster White (Backstreet Boys, Whitney Houston), and Bernie Herms (Plus One).

The project features 12 tracks, including the first single, "I Will Be," which was the most added song at Christian AC radio, according to R&R, for the week ending December 3. Billboard’s December 14 issue lauded the single as "a grand example of the stunning vocal prowess that this emotive singer possesses, guided by a bright, uptempo rhythm, appreciable hooks, and a message of heavenly devotion."

Deeper Life also includes "No Sign of It," which will be featured in the April Miramax release, A View from the Top, starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Kelly Preston, and Christina Applegate. The song will also be included on Curb Records’ A View from the Top motion picture soundtrack.

Additional selections from Deeper Life include the title track, "Days Like These," "Love Without Limits," "Within Me," "That’s When I’ll Give Up (On Loving You)," "Always Be Your Baby," co-written by Grant as a tribute to her father, and a new arrangement of Grant’s signature song, "I Am Not Alone," among others.

"For the first time in my career I feel like a complete artist, not just a singer," says Grant. "Mike Curb and Curb Records have given me the opportunity to accomplish that. From writing to producing I feel like we’ve completely captured who I am with this project and created material that I pray will connect with people in a deep and tangible way."

In addition to touring in the spring, Grant will be featured at twelve Women of Faith national conference events in 2003 and will kick-off the year on the Winter Jam 2003 Tour with Newsong, Plus One, and Tait, among others.
