Pillar's Fireproof tops 100,000 sales

Flicker Records’ rock quartet Pillar has scored another milestone this week with news that their latest project, Fireproof, has scanned over 100,000 units in a mere 7 months time. The album, which released nationwide May 21, 2002, is the fastest-selling album yet for Flicker Records, pioneered by Audio Adrenaline members Mark Stuart, Bob Herdman, and Will McGinness. The album continues to build success at radio, retail and media outlets and this week garnered two of R&R’s Year End Awards with “Rock Song of the Year” and second place for “Rock Major Impact Artist."

“We signed Pillar two and a half years ago and to watch them blow-up like they have is absolutely awesome,” Flicker Records President Bob Herdman said. “This couldn’t have happened to a harder working group of guys. It’s a rarity these days for independent labels to see these kinds of sales in such a short span of time; we’re extremely proud of Pillar and their relentless and tireless efforts to tour and minister like they do through their music.”
