Word Records drops Sarah Masen

The latest in the avalanche of changes at Word Records (now Warner Bros. Records, Christian Music Division), sees the end of Sarah Masen's relationship with the label. In her official newsletter, sent out today, she confirms that her recording contract was one of the casualties of the Warner Bros. shake-up.

Masen has had a busy year despite this turn of events, including the birth of her second child. She wrote in her newsletter that she harbors no bad feelings towards Word, and is actually "grateful" to be an independent artist again.
