New Artist Javen Signs to Tribe Music Label

TRIBE Music Group (Universal) announces the signing of the multi-talented artist JAVEN to the label’s roster.  This Bahamian born R&B/Urban artist is truly a dynamic force to be reckoned with and Keeping the Faith, Javen’s debut with Tribe Music Group is a strong introduction into the craft and musical prowess of this highly regarded artist.
 
JAVEN, now based in Los Angeles, has the amazing ability to balance.  He has managed to combine his talents as not only a musician, but as a singer songwriter, actor and independent producer, as well to stand out and launch a career that reaches young and old alike. 
 
Since 1991, Javen has been a regular on numerous television networks including BET, TBN, FOX, NBC, CTN, DAYSTAR and others ever since.  In 2002, Javen signed his first record deal with the Nashville-based Crowne/Word Records, where he released his debut self-titled debut and launched the Top 10 CCM hit single “Never Give Up On Love.”  His theatrical onstage work has given significant accolades, so much so that he landed a role along side Omar Sharif and Peter O’Toole in 2006’s One Night With The King.  This multi-talented young artist even hosts a one-hour weekly radio show on The Urban Network, getting over 6 million hits and reaching over 250,000 listeners.
 
This reach caught the eye of Tribe Music Group (Universal Music Distribution) who saw the vision of not only Javen’s artistry, but his ministry as well.
