Big Daddy Weave Announces Fall Tour
|
Big Daddy Weave announces the Sept. 11 launch of their “What Life Would Be Like 2008 Tour” in support of the band’s recently-released CD of the same name.
Celebrating a decade together with all original members still intact, headliner Big Daddy Weave will visit 37 cities throughout the Midwestern, Southern and Eastern U.S. through November (complete schedule available below). The band will be joined by special guest artists Rush of Fools and Jason Gray.
World Vision, an international Christian humanitarian organization, is a major sponsor for the What Life Would Be Like Tour. Because of Big Daddy Weave’s involvement with the nonprofit for several years, content on the newest CD, including a cover of Phil Collins’ classic, “Another Day In Paradise,” was influenced by a 2007 visit with World Vision to poverty-stricken villages in Ecuador. The tour is additionally sponsored by God’s Pit Crew, a disaster-relief organization based in Gulfport, MS.
While on tour, Big Daddy Weave will introduce their “Let’s Hear What Life Would Be Like” campaign. Developed as a multi-community building initiative and driven primarily through an online message board found at www.bigdaddyweave.com, people will be encouraged to post their testimonies and comments before and after the band’s performance in their tour city. In addition to fans sharing their experiences with other communities’ posts, Big Daddy Weave will further enter their thoughts in response to posts.
