Sanctus Real music featured on Fox's John Doe tv series
|
Sparrow Records’ newest rock band Sanctus Real will release its national debut, Say It Loud, December 24. Fans and a national audience had the opportunity to preview a portion of the recording’s title song last Friday night on Fox television's new drama, John Doe.
Sanctus Real is also being mentioned on the show’s website. Already receiving fan acclaim for its music, the show’s website, www.fox.com/johndoe/main.htm, will be adding a song list for each episode on a “recap” page on the site. According to the site, they are adding the song information due to an overwhelming number of requests for the music.
Sanctus Real originally caught Sparrow Records’ attention and was eventually signed to the label following its impressive win of Clear Channel WIOT- FM’s “Best Band” contest. Sanctus Real beat out 75 other hopefuls to receive the top award from the station, one of Toledo’s top commercial radio outlets. With over five years of touring and three independent records already to its credit, the Toledo, Ohio-based band teamed with producer Pete Stewart (tobyMac, Tait) to fine tune its brand of aggressive, melodic rock & roll for Say It Loud.
Sanctus Real has already built a significant fan base through national tours performing in churches, clubs, bars, coffee houses, and any place where they could spread their positive message of hope and faith. They will also be featured this fall as part of Festival Con Dios.
