Gospel Dream 2008 Free Tapings In Franklin, TN

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – May 2, 2008 – 16 aspiring Gospel/Christian singers will try to make their musical dreams come true in Gospel Dream 2008, the Gospel Music Channel television network’s Idol®-like talent search series, which will tape the five shows May 6 to 9 at The Factory in Franklin.
The public is invited to be in the studio audience to cheer on Gospel Dream hopefuls live for the semi-finals and finals to discover the next Gospel Dream Superstar. The show is hosted and contestants judged by top stars in Christian/Gospel music and those will be announced with the tapings.
The taping schedule is:
Tuesday, May 6: 7 p.m. (audience seated by 6:40 p.m.)
Wednesday, May 7: 7 p.m. (audience seated by 6:40 p.m.)
Thursday, May 8: 2 p.m. (audience seated by 1:40 p.m.)
7:30 p.m. (audience seated by 7:00 p.m.)
Friday, May 9: 7 p.m. (audience seated by 6:40 p.m.)
Gospel Dream 2008 invited performers from all Gospel/Christian styles, including traditional, soul, rock, blues and country, to audition in Chicago, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Miami and Atlanta.
The series premiere of Gospel Dream 2008 is June 1. The show will air on the Gospel Music Channel (Comcast Digital Cable Channel 189 in Nashville; DirecTV Channel 338) for five consecutive Sunday nights at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT), culminating with the grand finale coronation of the new Gospel Dream winner on June 29. Royal Caribbean International and Crest among others have signed on as sponsors of Gospel Dream 2008. Elvin Ross is the creator, executive producer and musical director of the Gospel Dream series.
