Celebrating Second Week At #1 -- Bread Of Stone Looks Forward To Summer Of Ministry To Youth

Nashville, Tennessee–-Bread of Stone continues to remain a strong presence on Christian radio with their single “Letting Go.” The song landed the No. 1 spot on the CRW IAA Chart for the second week in a row.

“Bread of Stone has the whole package; great music, strong stage performance, national touring, and most important a servant heart for reaching the lost,” says Dave Koch, CRW Publisher and Editor. “Their first AC/INSPO radio single, “Letting Go,” says that the only way to have a strong relationship with Christ is to humble ourselves, let go of our pride and seek after righteousness. The song is impacting on over 74 stations across the U.S. after just two months at radio. The best is yet to come for this emerging group.”

The debut single off the project of the same name is produced by Nashville Producer Tony Morra who when asked had this to say about the band and project, “From our first meeting to the tracking of the last note of "Letting Go" it was a feeling of family! A big part of that was God's anointing, the other is the absolute genuine love for the Lord and the music that Bread of Stone writes and performs! As a producer, you hope and pray for projects like this one!”

With the start of summer just a few weeks away, Bread of Stone is gearing up to do what they love, reaching out to the youth. The band will travel across the US ministering at youth camps nation-wide, singing and spending time with the youth camp attendees.

When asked about the impact at the youth camps, Bread of Stone’s lead vocalist Ben Kristijanto says, “We play quite a bit of youth camps during the summer time and in one particular camp, there was an amazing presence of the Spirit of the Lord. Several hundred youth were there when the anointing came down and everyone felt it so strong. There was not a dry eye in the room as kids began to share what was going on in their lives. Some shared their past experiences of abuse, while others shared about their ongoing struggles with temptation. None of this would have been possible without the work of the Lord.”

Bread of Stone consists of Ben Kristijanto (lead vocals, guitar, keys), Bill Kristijanto (lead guitar), Jeremi Hough (drums), and Tim Barnes (bass).
