Anointed asks out of Word recording contract

Sibling duo Anointed has parted ways, amicably, from Word Records, their record label of seven years. According to a statement from members Steve Crawford and Da’dra Crawford Greathouse, per their request, they were released from their contract. Calling themselves “free agents,” Anointed has not yet announced their future plans.
