Sparrow confirms 13th Steven Curtis Chapman album coming in January
|
Sparrow Records officially confirmed the reports today circulating the Net that Steven Curtis Chapman's next album will release in January. We Will Dance will be Chapman's 13th album.
There's very little new information in the report, but Sparrow doesn't give any hints about it being anything other than a traditional studio album. CMCentral had previously speculated that We Will Dance might be a side project, perhaps even a collection of romantic songs. But the report at sparrowrecords.com makes no mention of this, alluding to it as Chapman's next general studio album.
What is new in the report is that the release date for the album is January 28, 2003 (not January 23, as previously reported), and that Chapman has written and recorded 15 new songs for the album. Once again co-producing with Brown Bannister, Sparrow reports that Chapman is almost finished with his work on We Will Dance.
Update: Rather curiously, Sparrow Records has now removed this News article from their site.
