BEC Recordings signs singer/songwriter Jeremy Camp

BEC Recordings, home to such successful bands as The Supertones and Plankeye, has added amazing singer/songwriter Jeremy Camp to its stable of inspired Christian artists.

Two albums are already immediately planned, one being Jeremy's solo debut, another being a praise and worship project.

Jeremy was transplanted from his home of Lafayette, Indiana to attend Bible College in Murrieta, California in 1996, where he soon started leading worship and played enthusiastically received shows all around Southern California. Six months later, Jeremy's emotional, astonishingly uplifting style was leading congregations around the world in sublime worship.

Songs of his such as "Burden Me" and "I Know Youčre Calling" are filled with such a resplendent love for Christ and devotion to His will that few can resist getting swept up in Jeremyčs passion. His musical influences include everything from Third Day to Matchbox 20, Creed to the Goo Goo Dolls, and yet Jeremy makes all of his songs his own, stamped with his own irrepressibly joyful and meaningful style.

"I just want to encourage those who are going through major struggles in their lives to realize that God's faithfulness endures even during the darkest times," Jeremy says, drawing power in his work from the pain in his own life. "No matter what youčre going through, he will come through."

Jeremy Camp's music will appeal to anyone with a taste for excellent new music made by someone who desires to encourage others in the love of God above everything else.
