Warner Music, Parent of Word, To Slash Artist Roster

Warner Music, home of Word Entertainment, has announced that they will be slashing their artist roster to cut costs.

Some artists will be switching imprints while others will be cut completely, in order to bring the roster size more in-line with the size of the current organization. The plan is to take the roster from around 180 to around 100.

No word on how this may effect the roster of Word Records.
