Brooklyn Tab to release new album November 11

The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir is set to release Live: This Is Your House on November 11. In addition to the nearly 300-voice choir, Brooklyn Tabernacle Pastor Jim Cymbala and members of the church testify to compelling truths of redemption, protection, and grace throughout the project.

For three decades the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir has featured uplifting choruses and shared testimonies with listeners worldwide. This new project, to be released on M2.0 Communications, comes as possibly the most personal album to date for the 8,000 member church. The royalties from Live: This Is Your House will go directly to the church’s outreach center assisting underprivileged children.

“Out of any record the church has ever been a part of, this is by far the one we’re most excited about,” shares Pastor Cymbala. “It meets so many different needs of listeners and has such a contagious energy about it that truly replicates what you’d experience at a Sunday service at our church.”

Live: This Is Your House not only incorporates praise and testimonies but it speaks of interracial and cultural accord within this multi-cultural church. The Brooklyn Tabernacle Church recognizes first-hand how important it is to reach out to their community and those in need.

“Living in 2003 can be difficult with how jumbled the world is becoming, especially when you’re from the inner city where there’s a lot of single parents, predominately poor households, and lots of hand to mouth living,” says Pastor Cymbala.

Tony Evans, Senior Pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship and President of The Urban Alternative, comments on Live: This is Your House, "The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir continues their legacy of inspiring hearts and transforming lives in this wonderful new album. The music is sure to draw you closer to the Lord.”
