Catching up with Switchfoot...

With its latest album, The Beautiful Letdown, being hailed as “a masterpiece” by critics, it’s no wonder that Switchfoot continues to gain national attention with more tv exposure, continued radio success, and a highly anticipated fall tour. Here are the highlights:

  • Performance on NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly - Switchfoot will perform its hit song “Meant To Live” on this popular late night show the first week of September. (Check local listings.) The band also performed on The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn and as a part of Extra’s Lounge Acts earlier this year.
  • Continued radio success - “Meant To Live” is currently #36 on R&R’s Alternative Chart as well as #36 on the Billboard Monitor Chart and continues to grow every week. This song also dominated the #1 position at Christian Rock charts for three weeks earlier this year, as did the band's hit “More Than Fine” at #1 for five weeks on the CHR chart. Their second single, “Gone,” is currently #3 on CHR.
  • Fall Club Tour - After selling out 22 of the 28 headlining club dates this past spring, Switchfoot will again headline this club tour with special guests Bleu (Aware Records) and Sleeping At Last (Interscope), visiting such cities as Los Angeles, Nashville, Portland, Chicago, and Minneapolis.
