Leon Patillo arrested, being held in federal prison

As first reported by charismanews.com, former Santana lead singer and Christian solo artist Leon Patillo was arrested recently "over a real estate check," according to his wife, Renee.

"It's not ministry related," she said. "It's from a long time ago. That's all I know." The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBP) confirmed that Patillo is being held as a federal inmate at the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino, CA. He is reportedly not allowed to post bail. "I don't have any idea when he'll get out," Renee Patillo said. "Everything is still in process. Everything is being worked out. Please pray for us."
