Everyone to join Sonicflood's Cry Holy Tour
|
Everyone, Furious? Records’ most recent and first-ever new artist signing, will be a featured artist on the highly anticipated Cry Holy Spring 2003 Tour with INO Music’s Sonicflood. Hailing from San Luis Obispo, CA, and having performed hundreds of concerts, including a full tour of North America with Delirious, Everyone joins the tour in support of its self-titled debut album, which is set to release dually in the U.S. and U.K. April 8 and May 27, respectively.
“We are so excited to be on this tour with Sonicflood,” exclaims Searles. “This band has had such a huge impact on the world in the arena of worship. Rick and the guys obviously have a calling from the Lord that goes beyond just playing their music. It’s evident in their passion on and off stage that they desire to see God impact people’s lives through their music and ministry, and we are so blessed to be a part of that.”
“We have worked with Everyone in California, and we are incredibly impressed with their ability to lead worship and their spiritual maturity. And we are very exited that they will joining us on the Cry Holy Tour,” says Sonicflood frontman Rick Heil. “We are looking forward to an awesome tour where people will truly enter into presence of the Lord.”
Coincidentally, Everyone should be no strangers to Sonicflood fans since frontman Jeff Searles wrote the opening track, “I Have Come To Worship,” on Sonicflood’s RIAA gold certified, self-titled debut album. Providing fans with their first opportunity to preview music from Everyone, the 24-city tour begins March 14 in Indianapolis, IN, traveling across the nation into numerous major markets including Denver, Dayton, Columbus, and St. Louis (full tour itinerary below).
Everyone will also be teaming up with Delirious once again for two concerts in North America. The first event will be held June 1 at The Palladium in Los Angeles, CA, followed by a concert June 30 at the Queensway Cathedral in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Fans will also have the opportunity to see Everyone perform prior to the album’s release by tuning into Greg Laurie’s cutting-edge and innovative Day7 services, broadcast weekly on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). Held at Laurie’s 15,000-plus member Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, CA, the eighth largest church in the United States, Day7 airs on TBN every Saturday night at 8:PM PST/ 11:PM EST, reaching over 90 million households. The program is also streamed to a worldwide audience through the TBN Live! Webcast at www.tbn.org and at www.day7.tv.
Best described as “MTV meets church,” Day7 presents cutting-edge worship and relevant teaching for an “on-the-edge” 20-30 year old audience. As the nature of the service requires, Day7 wanted a worship band with a modern upbeat sound that would connect with its audience and whose hearts would link with its vision of reaching a lost generation. Ultimately finding Everyone to be a perfect fit, Day7 regularly features Everyone as its worship band, and has also featured the band as its special guest artist on several occasions.
“It has been a huge blessing getting to know the band Everyone,” says Steve Wilburn, overseeing pastor for Day7 and assistant pastor to Greg Laurie. “This group of guys has demonstrated maturity, dedication, and ‘real’ Christianity in the way they live their lives. From the first chord to the last note, this group opens the window to the throne room. We share a common goal... to let the world know that Jesus loves them.”
Blending an eclectic mix of genres and influences ranging from U2 to Travis to Coldplay, Everyone brings an inspired debut album with a message meant for everyone. With producer Julian Kindred (MercyMe, Michelle Tumes) guiding and longtime friend and Delirious member Stu G stepping in as executive producer, the emphasis throughout has been to capture the real spirit of the band, their passion for worship, their integrity and perhaps most of all, the sense of readiness to connect with people and with God.
