Jump5 partners with Zonderkidz for The Edge Devotional Bible
|
Jump5 has partnered with a new NIV Devotional Bible specifically designed to help "tweens" (kids ages 8-12) survive and discover the challenging and exciting time between childhood and adolescence. “We are so excited about being asked to partner with Zonderkidz, the children’s division of Zondervan, on The Edge. It’s written specifically for ‘tweens’ and is a great resource for finding out answers about God, friends, and life in general,” explains Libby Hodges of Jump5.
Nick Barre, Senior Director of Artist Development at Sparrow Records agrees. "The partnership with Zonderkidz’ The Edge Bible and Jump5 is a perfect fit. Both parties are committed to reaching tweens with the Gospel. The peer-to-peer relationship that Jump5 has with their audience makes their participation with The Edge Bible meaningful and significant."
“Tweens’ are one of the fastest growing age groups in the country. We felt a Bible designed specifically for tweens and their spiritual needs was long overdue,” says Kathy Needham, Senior Director of Marketing for Zonderkidz. “Partnering with Jump5 was a natural addition to the extensive marketing campaign we are putting behind this product to help retailers sell this unique and fun Bible to consumers.”
The Edge Devotional Bible is a full-text of God’s Word, featuring a bright cover, sketches of five multi-ethnic characters that help present 260 daily devotions, and 52 weekend devotionals in all. Jump5 will be promoting The Edge Devotional Bible in concerts, in store POP displays, and on their website, www.jump5.com. The Edge Devotional Bible will be available in stores this April. Zonderkidz will also launch http://www.theedge.com. “Our hope is that The Edge will meet the needs of ‘tweens’ nationwide and beyond, who are looking to dig their roots deeper into the source of all truth, the Bible,” Needham adds.
