Jars of Clay heads back to the studio for album #5

Straight from the horse's mouth comes word that Jars of Clay has entered the studio this week to begin working on the band's fifth record.

According to a forum post by Jars frontman Dan Haseltine at Jarchives.com, "We are working very fast this time, and are giving ourselves very little time, so we rely mostly on good songwriting and basic producing instincts that we often second guess when given longer recording seasons. So far the songs have all been working with the basic ingredients of acoustic guitars and hip-hop and trance drum loops. Feels like the good ole days."

Jars of Clay's next album is tentatively expected to release in November 2003.
