Left Behind books spin-off 2 new series

Tyndale House Publishers has struck a deal with Tekno Books to create two new spin-off series based on the best-selling Left Behind series. Arriving in July, Apocalypse Dawn will be the first title in the first new series, a new military thriller line by veteran writer Mel Odom. Nessa Hart's State Secrets will arrive in the fall and will be the first entry in the second new series, a political thriller line.

Storylines for the new titles will run parallel to the original Left Behind series and will have appearances by prominent characters but will focus primarily on a new cast during the Tribulation in the days following the sudden disappearance of millions of Christians. Both Apocalypse Dawn and State Secrets will launch in trade paperback and audio book. Subsequent titles will release in spring 2004.
