Geoff Moore hosts Compassion International concert series
|
This week, Geoff Moore is forging a deeper partnership with Christian child relief and development ministry, Compassion International, by hosting a series of concerts called "An Evening of Compassion with Geoff Moore." Joined by Warner Bros. Records artist Rachael Lampa and other friends of Compassion, Moore's show of the tour will be January 17 in Carlinville, IL and has already been confirmed a sell-out.
"I have been a long-time supporter of Compassion International," said Moore. "The work they do to help poverty-stricken children around the world has made a tremendous impact and to be a part of what they do is an honor."
Moore and his family have sponsored several children through Compassion International over the years and during his live performances, he has always advocated Compassion from stage, but these events take this partnership a step further. This month and next, Moore will be traveling with the tour to Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. The tour was developed to educate new audiences about the importance and impact of Compassion International and to encourage them to sponsor a child of their own.
"By having the opportunity to share our stories of how Compassion has made our lives richer through the sponsorship of a child, we hope to encourage others to help to secure the success of Compassion's future," Geoff adds.
