Earthsuit goes independent
|
Longtime absentee Earthsuit is currently hard at work on its return album, which will be released independently. The band decided to go the indie route after leaving Sparrow Records, and intends to release their sophomore album sometime in early 2003, according to the newly-updated earthsuit.com. Sound samples of three of their new songs are available for download on the website.
In other Earthsuit news, bassist Roy Mitchell has left the band to return to school, guitarist Dave Rumsey was recently married, and the band has hired a new drummer, Darren King. Band vocalist Adam LaClave is organizing a second band, to be named Macrosick, which is expected to surface sometime in late 2003.
The site also indicates that band members Paul Meany, Darren King, and Dave Rumsey have formed a new production team, dubbed "The Digitals," which is currently pursuing production work, and is already producing a few songs for tobyMac's next album.
