Ross Wright Band
In July 2004, Ross Wright Band's debut cd, "Light of Your Grace," came to completion. It is the culmination of hard work and God's grace for the band, who began recording the album in September of 2002. Members Ross, Jason, and Lee had played together for many years in praise bands and on recording projects. The three of them began working on a new vision for their music in the summer of '02. Along with co-writer David Snyder, they took their music before producer Billy Smiley. The relationship bloomed between the band and Smiley, and resulted in working together on RWB's debut album.
In March of '03, before the bulk of recording, the band added Travis Smith. After the addition of Smith, Ross moved from guitars to the piano. This furthered the evolution of the band to a more melodic rock sound.
Most of the recording was done at the Bennett House in Nashville, TN. Additional recording was done in Phoenix, Arizona and Ormond Beach, Florida.
Based in Virginia, the band is now focused on playing concerts and spreading the message of God's love through music. |
