Mute Math is the first band in a joint venture between Word Records and award-winning Producer Tedd T's Teleprompt Records (www.teleprompt.com ). Widely known as a founding member of the band Earthsuit, Paul Meany capitalized on his creatve talents after the group ended in 2002. During that time, fresh perspectives on life, new songs and even new band members emerged, forming New Orleans-based MUTE MATH.
MUTE MATH's 5-song debut EP, [reset], is guaranteed to be THE most innovative new project in Christian music this year, fluidly combining elements as diverse as jazz, rock and electronica. Their cutting-edge, distinctive sound melds organic instruments (often pulled apart and reassembled in radical new configurations) with electronic elements ultimately creating a distinctive and powerful articts statement.
