Hillsong United exists to stir young people around the globe to worship wholeheartedly, in spirit and in truth. It is the sound of a generation of worshippers who like a bit of sweat and distortion to accompany their expressions of love for their Maker.
Every Friday night in Sydney, Australia, masses of youth gather at Hillsong Church to participate in relevant, age-targeted programs, where they can bruise themselves at the skate park, stuff themselves at the café and enjoy multi-media presentations, dance and drama. They’ll also hear a God-message, and have the opportunity to experience God’s presence in worship, with songwriters and worship leaders including Marty Sampson and Joel Houston.
“Hillsong United is all about bringing together young people with a passionate desire to worship God and give their all to live for Him,” says Phil Dooley, who together with his wife Lucinda, are long time Youth Pastors of Hillsong Church.
