Paul Alan
Biography
Paul Alan
Aluminum Records has entered into an exclusive recording agreement with Nashville pop-rock artist Paul Alan. His solo debut, Falling Awake offers up an exceptional mix of pop melodies, rock edge, and touching down-to-earth lyrics. Alan will be producing the record with Aluminum president Brian Hardin. During his tenure with Nouveaux, Alan recorded two albums for Benson Records Beginnings and And This Is How I Feel. The latter of the two releases yielded two number one singles on the CRR/CHR charts - If Only and Through Heaven's Fields ; which helped combined album sales over 100,000 units. The group also performed on some high profile tours before becoming a headliner eventually playing hundreds of live performances across the nation. Thanks to continued radio support, the albums continue to register consistent numbers at SoundScan. Since the break-up of the band, Nouveaux fans have anxiously awaited new material from Alan. Having written the majority of Nouveaux songs, Alan is already a proven songwriter, but with his solo debut, he hopes to take his art to an even higher level. His goal is to address faith-related issues in a real way that doesn't trivialize people's problems with bumper sticker answers. Alan remarks, The focus of my songs are less about giving the answer and more about asking the right questions. It is presumptuous to assume that in three minutes you can speak into the life of someone who is hurting and solve all of his or her problems. My goal is to ask the questions that lead people down the right path to dealing with their situations in a real and lasting way. Falling Awake will hit streets August 14th. |
